Preparing For The Future

Everyone should consider what will happen to their family and loved-ones in the event of future incapacity or death. If you don’t make proper provision while you are able, no one else can afterwards. Failing to make proper provision can leave your family with additional stress in trying to sort out the mess – and potentially jeopardises their inheritance.

The good news is that it is easy and inexpensive to take the steps you require to sort out your affairs, and we have the expertise and experience to assist you in this.

Wills

If you don’t have a Will, many assume that everything will automatically go to who they consider their next-of-kin – WRONG!

Family Trusts

A Family Trust complements the provisions in a Will and can provide an effective solution to protect your interests & valuable assets.

Powers of Attorney

If, at some point, you lose capacity, a Power of Attorney allows you to choose someone to deal with your affairs when the need arises.

Inheritance

We specialise in the laws of Inheritance and use our experience to help benefit your family and loved ones when it matters.

Wills

If you don’t have a Will, the Law decides what happens to your possessions when you die. Many assume that everything will automatically go to who they consider their next-of-kin – WRONG!

If you have no Will, or an out of date Will, it could cost your family and loved ones dearly.

No Will means additional expense, hassle and delay for your loved-ones and the possibility they could lose out.

Sorting out your affairs NOW will save unnecessary expense, delay and hassle for your family in the future!

Family Trusts

Although a up-to-date Will is essential for Estate Planning, it does NOT provide solutions for many common concerns. A Family Trust complements the provisions in a Will and can provide an effective solution. A Trust can help: –

  • Avoid the Court process to obtain Confirmation after death
  • Protect the interests of young and vulnerable beneficiaries
  • Protect assets in the event future care is required
  • Avoid unwanted legal rights claims on the Estate
  • Reduce Inheritance Tax liability
  • Your affairs are properly managed in accordance with your wishes

Powers of Attorney

If you lose capacity, whether through age, illness or incapacity it means you lose the ability to deal with your day-to-day affairs yourself.

A Power of Attorney allows you to choose someone to deal with your affairs when the need arises. YOU appoint someone you trust to step into your shoes and handle all of your affairs – both financial and health and welfare – in your best interests.

If you don’t have a Power of Attorney when the need arises, the Courts can step in and decide who should act.

Inheritance Specialists

We are Solicitors who specialise in the laws of Inheritance – We use that experience to help you down a path to the results you want to achieve – for the benefit of you and your family and loved ones.

Many people assume – wrongly – that although they have done nothing, everything will just sort itself. Make sure you are not one of them and do what you need to do NOW to protect those closest to you.

Sorting out your affairs NOW will save unnecessary expense, delay and hassle for your family in the future!
